Demlicans or Repubocrats... |
Problem: 'Change you can believe in'. That was the battle cry of the socialists during the 2008 Presidential campaign. My question is this: Change from what? Both the Democrats and Republicans have taken turns running the government since before the Civil War. That's about 150 years ago people. If I gave you 150 years to create the perfect government, I hope you wouldn't come back to me 150 years later and advertise that you need to be re-elected yet again so you can fix the mess you created. And don't blame the other party. It's not like the two major parties have unwound the massive government programs and policies put in place by their 'adversary'. Think social security, medicare, unemployment benefits, minimum wage, etc.; think wars over oil, drugs and military bases worldwide; think lobbyists, big business and unions controlling the government; think high taxes for you and generous benefits for the next guy who seems to be perpetually 'at-risk'. Now, do you think we need change? And who can be trusted to make these changes––the same idiots who created this mess that now must be changed?? Solution: Vote for Independent and Third-Party candidates. The two major parties have too many pet programs to defend; too many special interest groups they must answer to. |
Questions: · Are we done simply watching the minority group of socialists and neo-conservatives shamelessly rape our Constitution on a daily basis, or will we act before our country, our lives and our future are completely destroyed? · Will we ever be an honorable model for the rest of the world to admire, or will we continue to bully and bribe foreigners and their governments, imposing the will of our extremist minority across the globe? · Will the extremists who took over America, polluting our unique model of individual freedom, liberty and responsibility, ever be tried for treason? |
